Innovations in new Palm OS

Credit goes to atariboy for making me aware of this one. New Palm Web OS released today at CES 2009 has a great new UI design whereby notifications 'push up' the main screen as they arrive, thereby never taking over the interaction. In addition, they are easily dismissed using a flick gesture. I've not used it myself, but it looks like a nice implementation.
